Reading club activities

Last school year we had a set of graded book readers being tested. It turned out that my pupils liked the idea so this summer I have done some research on possible activities to make the reading activity and the Club more meaningful. 

Here is a list of activities for pupils: 

1 A lifetime tale- draw and label or draw and write a lifetime story of the main book character

2 My favorite event illustration

3 Dear diary..- imagine you are one of the characters from the book and describe yourself or what you are doing

4 Travel agent in my town- describe or draw the town from the book

5 You're hired!- write an application for a dream job of one of the characters from the book

6 What's the status?- create a Fb page for your character and write 3-4 status updates

7 Bubbles and clouds- draw a part of a conversation between two characters

8 Amazing artefact- imagine/ select, draw and explain the importance of that artifact for the story

9 If I was..- choose one situation from the story and explain how you would handle it

10 You have three wishes!- write the three wishes your favorite character would have
